The following are spreads from The Sea Giant which came highly commended in this year's Macmillan Prize Competition for Children's Book Illustration. The exhibition was held in Foyles Gallery in London.
The story is about a Giant that rises from the sea to take part in a fishing competition, only to find he can't catch anything. To everyone's horror, the Gobbler Fish appears. Will the Sea Giant save the day? Short answer: yes ;)

Vine Street
Situated directly below the metropolis above in
Sub-Babylon, Vine Street is home to ruffians,
cowboys, and robots not deemed fit enough for life
above. Oh, and a few wealthy aristocrat tax dodgers!
At just over 170cm wide, I couldn't upload
Vine Street as one whole document at a suitable
viewing resolution. So I've had to chop it up a bit.
Vine Street was inspired by 50's Las Vegas, the
wild west and various ancient cultures
I should have a better resolution full-view available
at another location soon.
